Yamaha CRX-040 Factory Reset

Power Off

Hold down Input and Play/Pause

Power on

Navigate to "PRESET INH" by using the left and right arrow buttons on the remote (not the normal left and right buttons)

Press up button until "PRESET RSRV" shows up

Power off and back on the receiver
